What is SAP Integration Hub?
SAP Integration Hub is where we simplify SAP integration and technical topics!
Every article on this site walks through real SAP integration scenarios; SAP Integration Suite, SAP AIF, BTP, integration patterns, S/4HANA technical configuration with the kind of step-by-step detail that you can follow along for your SAP implementation project.
It is not just about full technical topics; we will break down SAP architecture and functional topics as well.
Whether you’re configuring an interface for the first time, debugging an error that’s burning your Friday afternoon, or planning the integration architecture for an entire S/4HANA rollout, there are resources here to help you.
Over 3,000 SAP professionals follow along!
Who’s behind SAP Integration Hub?
Here’s what surprises most people: there is no team. There is no editorial board, no ghostwriters!
SAP Integration Hub is written, maintained, and run entirely by one person, me, Isuru Fernando.
I’m an SAP Integration Architect. I’ve spent my career deep in S/4HANA implementation projects, in North America, Europe and Asia, and currently living in beautiful Hamburg, Germany. And I’ve been writing about SAP technical technology for a decade now.
It started back in 2016 on the good old Blogger platform. I wasn’t trying to build an audience or launch a brand. I was trying to stop forgetting things. When you’re in the middle of a complex S/4HANA project and you solve a tricky configuration or figure out a technique that took you hours to crack, you don’t want to solve it from scratch again six months later. So I started documenting. Every interesting implementation, every technical nuance I observed or configured, I wrote it down.
That habit is the reason my articles are as detailed as they are. They were written so that I could come back, follow my own steps, and get the job done again. I still use them that way. When I need to revisit an AIF configuration, OData development technique, or a SAP Integration Suite flow I built two years ago, I open my own articles!
What I did not expect was that thousands of other SAP professionals needed the same thing. The kind of detailed, documentation based on experience that doesn’t exist in official SAP docs. Ten years later, those personal notes have grown into SAP Integration Hub, and the reason it works is that I never stopped writing the way I started: detailed enough that I would trust it myself.
